2014 Arches Quarter Errors – A Fantastic Simple Coin

The US mint released the Arches Quarter June 9, 2014, the 23rd release of the America the Beautiful series. The quarter portrays the Arches National Park on the coin’s reverse.

  1. Have an arches quarter with a large glob left on the right top of the arch to the,almost the top of the coin.

  2. I believe I may have an errrored 2014 Utah Arches quarter. My quarter has a circle not only on the tails side but also on the president’s head side. What should I do?

  3. I have a 2014 arches quarter that has a chunk taken out of it were it’s says utah you can barley see the letters were it says utah and you can hold another quarter were the chujnks out and it fits perfectly I think it’s a dye error

  4. I have an Arches quarter with a circular stamp mark through the letters on the front side. The coin looks as if the front design was printed onto the back side of the quarter. I haven’t seen this with any other coins.

I just found one of these where there is a perfect circle around the inside of the front of the coin in the middle of United States of America and cuts the e on in god we trust through the middle of quarter dollar and from the end of the horizontal part of the L to the top of the vertical part of the L. Have you seen many others cause i don’t see any pictures of it anywhere is it rare?

    I have a 2014 Arches quarter with a diy crack right in the middle of the Arches making it look like a lighting strike

  6. I have found an error on the distant mountain between the arches. At first it looked like a deep scratch, than I found another in the same position but much lighter. It looks like the mountain is erupting like a volcano.

    1. Hey I have a 2014-p quarter dollar error there is a extra 1 in 2014 …i look at every 2014 utah quarter dollar and this is a error

    2. My 2014′ Arches quarter has somewhat of 2 errors, the first is there’s no “L” in Liberty. and second is the “E” on we, is half there if that .it’s barely noticeable, I don’t know I thought it was a good find…

  7. Received in change a 2014 Utah quarter. It appears to be struck on an other than copper clad disc. Anything like this reported? It looks to be aluminum or possibly zinc without the copper cladding.

    1. I have a 2014 arches qrtr which I believe is an error. On the obverse side the stamp is uneven causing significant wear on the left side of the qrtr I can barely seethe L in liberty and the word united is also extremely worn where as the opposite side of the qrtr is very crisp and clear.

  8. Hi I have a 2014 D, on the front the A in states is smeared in the middle and the D in GOD is too. On the back above the u in Utah has a line like extra peice. Thanks

  9. I have a 2014 silver arches quarter and was wondering if the arches side is suppose to be upside down or not

  10. I have a 2014 arches p quarter and am wondering if the arches side is suppose to be facing upright same as the head side or not? If looking at the head side with head up right then flip it over the arches side is flipped upside down.
